Module cloning and repair
Cloning ECU/DME and other compatible modules, used-module solutions where technically supported, and selected electronic repairs on the bench.

What cloning does
Cloning transfers the data from an original module to a compatible replacement, so the replacement can take its place. Whether it is possible depends on the module and the condition of the original, so compatibility is checked first.
Modules we work with
Bench work, explained
Bench cloning
With the module out of the car, its data can be read and written under controlled conditions, so a compatible replacement can take over from a failed original. This can mean the module is worked on away from the vehicle.
Component-level repair
When a fault is in a repairable part of the module itself, repairing it can keep the original unit in service instead of replacing it.
The right route for the job
Cloning, repair, programming a replacement, or coding are different jobs. We assess the module and the fault first, then recommend the route that fits. Programming & coding explained.
Cloning and repair questions
Will cloning work for my module?
It depends on the module type, the replacement unit and the condition of the original. We check compatibility first, and if cloning is not the right route we explain the options.
Is cloning done at my vehicle?
Some work is done at the vehicle. Selected cloning and electronic repairs are done on the bench, which can mean the module is worked on away from the vehicle.
Can a used module from another car be used?
Sometimes. Used-module solutions depend on the module and vehicle being technically compatible, which we confirm before any work begins.
Failed module or a used replacement?
Call with the year, make, model and the module part number, and we will go through the options with you.
